## From the vendor

OpenFrame is an AI-native managed services platform from Flamingo for MSPs and MSSPs, combining native PSA, RMM, ticketing, remote access, patch management, mobile device management and runbook-style automation in a single console rather than integrating separate point products. Two AI agents ship with the platform: Fae takes support requests in plain English, runs automated diagnostics and can close straightforward tickets before a technician sees them. Mingo generates PowerShell, Bash and Python scripts, enforces patch and configuration policies and runs bulk operations across a device fleet with an audit log. Flamingo reports that production deployments close 10 to 25 percent of tickets without a technician. OpenFrame is priced per device rather than per technician or per user: $1.00 per device per month billed monthly, or $0.80 per device per month billed annually (20% off), both published on Flamingo's own site (checked September 2026). The monthly plan includes 10 million AI tokens and the annual plan 25 million, with further AI usage billed pay-as-you-go. There is a 14-day free trial with no card required and no contract, but no free tier once the trial ends. Flamingo positions OpenFrame as a replacement for an MSP's existing stack rather than an addition to it: the vendor states the platform "isn't built to plug into your stack, it replaces it," so published integrations with separate tools such as ConnectWise or IT Glue are not part of its current documentation. Flamingo is a venture-backed company that launched from stealth in October 2025 and has raised $6.7 million in total funding, including a $4.5 million seed round led by Vertex Ventures. It is based in the United States. Flamingo says all of its code will eventually be open source and that SOC 2 Type II certification is in progress but not yet complete. Because OpenFrame is a new product from a company with limited trading history and few independently reported customer references, an MSP evaluating it should confirm data migration support away from an existing PSA or RMM, check what happens if required features are missing, and verify the SOC 2 status before committing.

## Our take

OpenFrame is worth watching rather than assuming: an AI-native, single-console alternative to running a PSA such as ConnectWise PSA or Autotask alongside an RMM such as NinjaOne or Datto RMM separately, priced simply per device rather than per technician. That single-console design is also the catch: Flamingo says OpenFrame replaces your stack rather than plugging into it, so migrating off an established PSA and RMM combination, and losing whatever integrations you currently rely on, is the real cost to weigh against the AI ticket automation and per-device pricing. Take the 14-day free trial before committing, ask for reference customers beyond the case studies Flamingo publishes itself, and check whether SOC 2 Type II, still listed as in progress, has landed before handling client data through it.

## FAQ

### How much does OpenFrame cost?

OpenFrame starts at US$0.80 per endpoint per month, according to the vendor, checked September 2026.

### Does OpenFrame offer a free trial?

OpenFrame offers a free trial. There is no free version.

### Is OpenFrame cloud or on-premises?

OpenFrame is cloud-hosted; there is no on-premises version.

### Is OpenFrame priced per device, per technician or per user?

OpenFrame is priced per device rather than per technician or user: $1.00 per device per month billed monthly, or $0.80 per device per month if billed annually, both published on Flamingo's site (checked September 2026). The monthly plan includes 10 million AI tokens and the annual plan 25 million, with extra usage billed pay-as-you-go. A $3 per device per month "Gen2" tier has been announced for the fourth quarter of 2026 but is not yet available.

### Does OpenFrame integrate with tools like ConnectWise, NinjaOne or IT Glue?

No published integration list is currently documented for OpenFrame with third-party PSA, RMM or documentation tools. Flamingo positions OpenFrame as a replacement for an MSP's existing stack rather than an addition to it, bundling PSA, RMM, ticketing, remote access, patch management and mobile device management into one native platform. MSPs currently running a mixed stack should expect a migration rather than a side-by-side integration.

### Can I try OpenFrame before paying?

Yes, Flamingo offers a 14-day free trial of OpenFrame with no card required and no contract needed to start. During the trial, you get full access to the platform to evaluate the capabilities hands-on. There is no separate free tier once the trial period ends, so ongoing use requires a paid per-device subscription billed monthly or annually.

### Who is behind OpenFrame and how established is the company?

OpenFrame is built by Flamingo, a venture-backed company founded by CEO Michael Assraf that launched from stealth in October 2025. Flamingo has raised $6.7 million in total funding, including a $4.5 million seed round led by Vertex Ventures, and is based in the United States. As a young company, it has fewer years of trading history and independently reported customer references than established PSA and RMM vendors.

### What do the Fae and Mingo AI agents in OpenFrame actually do?

Fae is OpenFrame's client-facing AI agent: it takes support requests in plain English, runs automated diagnostics such as gathering logs and screenshots, and can close straightforward tickets before a technician opens them. Mingo is the technician-facing agent: it generates PowerShell, Bash and Python scripts, enforces patch and configuration policies, and runs bulk operations across a device fleet with an audit log. Flamingo reports that AI agents close 10 to 25 percent of tickets in production deployments without a technician, though this is the vendor's own figure.
