MSP Software is operated by Lucid ICT Limited, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC760973), registered office Aves Business Centre, 11 Jamaica Street, Aves House, Greenock, Inverclyde, PA15 1XX ("we", "us"). Using the site or creating an account means you accept these terms.
An account is opened by signing in with an email address; there is no password. One account per email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, since a sign-in link is only as safe as your inbox. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
When you post a review or a price report you grant us a licence to publish, edit for formatting, and retain it as described in our privacy policy, even after your account is deleted, with your identity replaced by "former member". You confirm that a review reflects your own genuine experience with the product and that a price report reflects what you or your business pays or have agreed to pay. You will not post on behalf of a vendor, in exchange for anything of value, or about a product you have not used. Full moderation and incentive rules are on how reviews work.
Claiming a vendor requires signing in with an email address on that vendor's own domain; see for vendors for how domains are recognised. We can revoke a claim. Once claimed, a vendor account may edit its own listings' descriptions, pricing links and logos. A vendor account cannot edit, hide or remove a review or a price report, and cannot review or report a price on any product, including its own.
Featured placement and site sponsorship are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or annually, that renew automatically until cancelled from the billing portal; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, with no pro-rata refund. A placement requires the listing to stay published and, for Featured, the claim to stay valid. If we remove a placement because these terms were broken, no refund is due; if we remove it for any other reason, the unused portion is refunded. Prices are on for vendors. Neither placement affects a review, a rating, a reported price or the order of the ordinary (non-Featured) list.
A member or a vendor can flag a review for breaking these terms. If you believe a review is defamatory, use the statutory process at how to complain about a review instead.
The site publishes descriptions written from public information, along with reviews and price reports submitted by members; we do not warrant that any of it is accurate, complete or current, and you should verify pricing and terms directly with a vendor before signing anything. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published on it.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
