FAQ
Is Todyl cloud or on-premises?
Can an MSP buy just one Todyl module, or does it require the full platform?
Todyl's network security, EDR, managed SOC, DNS and web filtering, and identity monitoring are separate modules an MSP switches on as needed rather than a single all-or-nothing platform purchase. Pricing is per user or per endpoint per month depending on which modules are enabled, so a client only needing one or two modules is not forced to pay for the rest.
Is Todyl's managed SOC run by Todyl or by the MSP?
Either. Todyl's SOC service can be run entirely by Todyl's own analysts for a fully outsourced security offering, or handed to the MSP's own team for a more hybrid model where the MSP retains some of the response work. Which option applies changes both the price and who is responsible for responding to an alert, so confirm this before buying.
Does Todyl integrate with an MSP's existing PSA?
Todyl integrates with major PSA platforms for ticketing and billing, so alerts and module usage can flow into an existing service desk workflow rather than a separate console only. Confirm current integration support for the specific PSA in use, since depth of integration can vary between platforms.
Is Todyl cheaper than buying separate security point products?
It depends on how many modules a client actually needs, since Todyl is priced per user or per endpoint per module enabled rather than a flat all-in fee. For an MSP currently paying for two or three overlapping tools, consolidating onto Todyl's modules can simplify billing, but a direct cost comparison requires quoting the specific modules needed rather than assuming a blanket saving.
