Overview

From the vendor

Veeam is backup and replication software for virtual machines, physical servers and cloud workloads, widely used both by MSPs running their own backup infrastructure for clients and by larger IT teams managing it in-house. It suits environments already standardised on VMware or Hyper-V, since Veeam's image-based, application-aware backup is built specifically around those hypervisors, and MSPs who want to own the backup repository rather than depend on a vendor's cloud. Pricing is per socket or per workload depending on the product line, typically sold through a distributor or resold under an MSP's own backup-as-a-service offering rather than published as a simple per-seat price. Veeam also has a Microsoft 365 backup product for mailboxes, OneDrive and SharePoint. It integrates with most major storage, hypervisor and cloud platforms, and MSPs commonly layer their own PSA ticketing and monitoring around Veeam's own alerting and reporting console.
