TruGrid SecureRDP

TruGrid SecureRDP is a zero trust remote access platform from TruGrid (legally N.E. Desktop Software, Inc.) for MSPs and organisations that need to reach Windows desktops, Remote Desktop Services (RDS) servers and virtual desktop infrastructure without opening a VPN tunnel or exposing an RD Gateway to the internet. Every connection is authenticated in TruGrid's cloud, with multi-factor authentication enabled by default, before a Remote Desktop Protocol session is brokered to the target machine, so no inbound firewall ports need to stay open. It covers single-user remote work through to RDS server fleets and Azure Virtual Desktop, and the Business tier adds a fleet dashboard for monitoring server and desktop health, live session shadowing, and role-based admin access. It suits MSPs replacing an exposed RDP-over-VPN setup or a Citrix deployment, and organisations that need to satisfy PCI, HIPAA or cyber insurance requirements around remote desktop access. TruGrid SecureRDP is worth a look for an MSP that wants to close exposed RDP ports and force MFA without bolting on a separate VPN client and MFA product, and its per-user pricing is published for the Basic and Business tiers rather than quote-only. It suits shops standardising client desktops on RDS or Azure Virtual Desktop, less so an MSP whose main need is occasional one-off support sessions on unmanaged machines, where a tool such as ScreenConnect or TeamViewer fits better.
